Come post

The series Too Close voiced one of the questions that have always baffled me.

A woman (who drove her kids off a bridge) asks another woman (who lost her child and is her therapist):

"How does everyone else function? I just don't understand. Why aren't the streets full of wrecked people?"

Man I felt that.

I have much admiration for great actors because it just doesn't seem possible to embody someone else that flawlessly and make it look so natural and easy.

On the other hand, almost everybody is an actor, great or bad, but definitely an actor. I know I was, all the time.

So as I write this the question has answered itself. The streets are full of wrecked people.
